Wire ropes also have right-hand and left-hand lay directions, so the rope surface should match the lay direction of the rope groove surface of the clip base to increase friction and extend rope life. Therefore, wire rope clips should also be divided into left clips and right clips and should not be mixed. Suitable for wire rope diameters ranging from 6-60mm. For special structures such as 8-strand or triangular strand wire ropes, consult the supplier before placing an order.

3. When purchasing wire rope clips, inspect the dimensions of the U-bolt threads.

① The dimensions of the U-bolt should comply with standards. If the opening is too large, the rope strands may misalign; if too small, it may affect clamping force.

② The outer diameter of the threads should meet the requirements of standard GB/T197-2003. Excessive clearance between threads and nuts can result in insufficient gripping force, and if corroded, it may cause the nut to slip off more easily. This should also be given special attention.

4. Correct arrangement method for wire rope clips: The arrangement of clips should comply with standard specifications, with the distance between clips being 6-7 times the rope diameter (this is the arrangement method under natural conditions). For special fastening situations such as thimbles, wedge sockets, splices, etc., used in combination, the rationality of arrangement and overall system factors should be considered.
